“The Eensy-Weensy Spider”

adapted by Mary Ann Hoberman and illustrated by Nadine Bernard Westcott is a very cute book. May Ann takes the original Eensy-Weensy Spider song that has been passed down and adds 10 verses about the spider and what she does during the day. She sings a song, hugs a bug, swims with a frog, scraps her knees, buys shoes and much more. My only complaint is that 11 verses is a lot to sing! I would pick a few to sing at a time, my toddler’s attention level isn’t quite that high!
