“Cleopatra’s Daughter” Book Review

I loved this book. I was pulled in immediately and stayed interested and wrapped in the story the entire way through. I love that this book was so historically accurate! The author, Michelle Moran, did a lot of research and even though we don’t know exactly what these people were like I think she did a wonderful job weaving the story in with actual events and places. I was transported to Rome, and not the romanticized version we so often hear about, but what I think it would really be like to live there at that time.

There are very few books I want to buy after checking them out from the library and reading them but Cleopatra’s Daughter is definitely one of them. If it wasn’t due back today I would have reread it immediately.
