Reasons I Should Stay Away from the Scale

“Hmmm I’m feeling skinny today, I should weigh myself even though I have just eaten food.”

“You have lost +2 pounds… oh, I mean gained”

“I’ll show you stupid scale!”

4 packs of fun sized M&Ms later

“Why haven’t I lost any weight?!?!” {insert exasperated eye-roll at self}

Then I made this because this is constructive:

  2. HAHA! I love it. What program did you use to make that? I love it. And I hate the scale, too. Especially when you’re feeling like you have lost weight and it shows you haven’t. My cousin posted this on facebook, maybe you’ll like it:

    “I figured out why I’m so fat! The shampoo I use in the shower that runs down my body says “for extra volume and body”. I’m going to start using Dawn dish washing soap. It says “dissolves fat that is otherwise difficult to remove.” hehe

    Keep exercising and cutting calories, it will pay off, and hopefully it is making you feel better, even if the monster scale is being mean. Also, are you taking other measurements? Like of your waist, thighs and arms? Sometimes the scale stays the same even though I’ve lost inches. Try that, it can be motivating, too.

    • I used Photoshop it took like 3 minutes, haha. Yeah I wanted to punch that dang scale. And measuring inches sounds like what I should do. I think I look thinner, Ben even mentioned it the other day (and I didn’t even bring it up) so yeah. Muscle weighs more than fat right?
