Button Snake

Well I love all the ideas I found here for some cute activity bags. If you missed my I Spy Bag, be sure and check it out. Today I’m sharing the button snake!

It is really quite simple. Get some ribbon, two buttons and felt. Sew buttons on either end of the ribbon and then cut a line in the felt big enough for it to button over the buttons and onto or off of the ribbon! Something I did was make it so the felt only comes off one side by sewing some felt onto the “back button.” I did some fun shapes for my boys, lightening bolts, circles, squares, triangles, hearts, stars, etc. It only took me 45 minutes or so to do the entire thing, so it is fast and so easy! You will enjoy and so will your kiddos!
